Happy Father’s Day June 19, 2005

in bed, presents, steak, a nap and some ice cream.
wonderful first Father’s Day. It began with breakfast in bed, where I also
received three awesome gifts: a framed set of Delton pics, the book I Love My Daddy, and Darth
Tater.
After church Dale
and Jeremy joined us for lunch at the new Longhorn Steakhouse. Because I won big
at poker the previous evening, I splurged on a bacon-wrapped filet mignon.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the steak or our service that day. At
least we didn’t have to wait 90 minutes like the folks waiting to get in as we
left.
We rounded out the day with
all the men taking a nap and a trip to the Strasburg Creamery. View some

PS:
I just realized that Aleisha never posted about her first Mother’s Day, mainly
because a certain somebody failed to record the day in photos. At any rate, with
a brunch at church, lunch at Kauffman’s and some time with her mom and Grandma,
I think she enjoyed her big day as much as I did mine. I did manage one good
photo that night:
