Today, I tagged along and recorded Delton’s first attempt at fishing using the Spider-Man rod that Pappy bought him for his birthday. Delton had been anxiously awaiting “April time” since we told him that he had to wait to go. Dale took us to Limestone Springs Fishing Preserve near Myerstown. They had a small pond that made for easy casting. It didn’t take long before they caught their first, then second and third trout. Delton was quite proud, as you can see:
