Today was our last day here at Myrtle Beach and it is freezing. We drove by a bank and it said 39 degrees on the sign. Uh, isn’t it suppose to be warm down here in the south?
We took the kids to the Children’s Museum of South Carolina. It was a lot of fun. It reminded us of the Hands on House, in Lancaster. The kids had a great time running around and exploring.
Tonight we went to Medieval Times. It was an expeirence. It’s a dinner show during which you need to eat your dinner with just your hands – no utensils. So, we got to see knights competing against each other. After each competition the winning knight got flowers to give to the “ladies” in the audience. Mom got one! We kept trying to get our knight to give one to Julia. But he just kept winking at her. Later on at the main event the knight had to choose his “queen of love and beauty”, and guess who he picked – JULIA!! But, she didn’t bring him any luck, as he got killed in the final battle.
I’ll post pictures later.
